Positions Summary:

Responsible for scheduling contract assignments for shipboard Entertainment employees and contractors including but not limited to: Musicians and Headliner Entertainers. Supports various Entertainment administrative duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with shipboard/shoreside Entertainment team to facilitate proper workforce planning, scheduling of planned and unplanned movements, logistics and succession planning in an optimum manner.
  • Ensure there is complete and accurate employee data in all systems (i.e. E1, EMS) for assigned departments and/or positions.
  • Process, generate and update all contracts and required letters for Headliner Entertainers and Musicians.
  • Schedule movement in the E1 system ¿ contract projections, travel requests.
  • Oversee visa and background check requirements and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinates with HR, PEME and Travel departments regarding travel, sign on, sign off, medical and risk management requirements and issues.
  • Submit ECCR and SeaForm requests and monitor approvals for all scheduled positions.
  • Attend Entertainment Activities conferences, auditions, recruiting events and conducts ship visits, as needed.
  • Make business decisions on crew movement and effectively communicate decisions to Entertainment Studios, Ships and Shoreside teams including management with the reality of crew member availability and ship itineraries.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate (or equivalent)
  • College/University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience/training in related fields preferred
  • Entertainment industry experience required
  • Knowledge and experience in work force planning, scheduling and logistic services preferred
  • Cruise industry experience both shipboard and shoreside a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for a multi-cultural environment
  • Attention to detail, time management, and teamwork
  • Diplomacy and relationship building skills
  • Proactive approach to daily job responsibilities and excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to think critically, use independent judgment and exercise decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong computer skills, especially email programs, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Microsoft PowerPoint
