Position Summary / Job Purpose:

Royal Caribbean International is seeking an Analyst, Consumer Insights to work within the Consumer Insights team in fulfilling market research needs with specific focus on measurement of the customer experience, and reporting on business performance and guest sourcing. This role will work cross departmentally, be responsible for leading reporting and data visualization of our KPIs, and supporting measurement of the guest experience across multiple touchpoints (post cruise survey, and website). This role is responsible for managing multiple projects, and requires being detail oriented in project management. We’re looking for a strong, self-motivated individual who brings technical and process leadership as well as service oriented mindset in everything they do. The Analyst of Consumer Insights will serve as the internal expert and a champion of the voice of the customer for the Consumer Insights team and within the broader organization.

The Analyst, Consumer Insights will report to the Manager, Consumer Insights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for supporting insights team, assisting in pulling sourcing data from our database and integrating into a custom data visualization tool. Additionally, this role will assist with support of ongoing customer experience program across multiple touchpoints (post cruise survey, and website).
  2. Support internal custom requests and business questions by analyzing large data sets and distilling findings into actionable insights for broader organization.
  3. Be a key contributor to all aspects of consumer insights reporting and analysis, ensuring timeliness, completeness and accuracy of reporting. Continuously refining based on feedback and evolving business objectives.
  4. Act as primary point of contact on customer data, sourcing information, and data visualization. Leading reporting on commercial KPIs for Marketing organization.
  5. Manage centralization and organization of existing research materials.
  6. Maintain project timelines and deliverables, preparing materials and managing presentation logistics with team lead.
  7. In all cases, take responsibility for creating deliverables of high quality.

Job Requirements

Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Candidate should have 0-3 years experience in market research, consumer insights, analytics, or business intelligence.
  • Bachelors degree required (Marketing, Business, Sociology, Statistics, Applied mathematics, Psychology preferred)
  • Familiarity with questionnaire design, programming sampling approaches, tabulation planning
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, decision making, and problem solving abilities along with analytical aptitude, inquisitive nature, and passion for uncovering insights
  • Experience working with survey applications and analytical tools is a plus (such as Qualtrics, Q, Survey Reporter, SPSS, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for qualitative focus groups
