Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY / JOB PURPOSE:

The Analyst, Marketing & Analytics is a member of the Azamara BI team and will provide analytical support to all functions across the brand, with a heavy focus on Marketing and the assessment of promotions and campaign performance.

Responsibilities include building, reporting, and optimizing marketing promotions and campaigns, as well as creating tools and reports to drive effectiveness and efficiency across departments. The Analyst will also provide ongoing reporting of our guest and prospect database to gauge the evolution of the database, and how to build it further.  Additionally, the Analyst will work closely with other departments and be responsible for processing data, analyzing, creating reports and presenting finding to all levels of management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide analytics, trends and insights that target guests more precisely and by extension reach the right guest, which increases revenue and improves the booking cycle.
- Define, execute and report on customer marketing campaigns that incorporate consumer and product segmentation, personalization and A/B testing.
- Execute a campaign testing strategy grounded in solid scientific principles. Work with the customer experience team to support campaign building and execution.
- Facilitate an effective targeting strategy that includes recommendations and segmentation for list pulls for promotional, loyalty, onboard, and triggered (pre- and post-voyage communications) campaigns.
- Measure all marketing and sales communications campaigns to ensure that campaigns are effective and provide optimal returns. 
- Monitor, analyze and provide insights on the consumer database and work collaboratively with other departments to coordinate and help deliver database growth initiatives.
- Provide reporting and analysis on all key aspects of digital marketing to help optimize our digital marketing efforts.
- Create ad-hoc reports, identify key learning’s, and draw conclusions based on analysis and interpretation of data.
- Develop, support, and contribute to the execution of various analytical projects.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

- Bachelor degree required, preferably in Marketing Analysis, Data Analytics, or similar field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Marketing or Data Analytics.
- Experience in building and coding email campaigns in email service provider tools such as Exact Target and in Seibel Marketing and Analytics.
- Technical skills in programs like: SQL, SAS, Excel, Adobe Analytics, Oracle Siebel CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud for campaign execution and business end user performance analysis.
- Experience with analytical manipulation and interpretation of large databases required.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work accurately and effectively to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks related to own responsibilities.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently to recognize, trouble shoot, and solve problems.
- Outstanding attention-to-detail and organizational skills.
