Your opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial, high-energy self-starter, who wants to help us make Celebrity Cruises and our Brand purpose even more famous. 

You will create, implement and lead an innovative global communications strategy for our President & CEO, filtering requests and opportunities so that we can ensure Celebrity appears with and builds incredible relationships with key media, influencers and stakeholders. Part of this opportunity is to actively seek out important opportunities for Lisa to appear on behalf of our Company and Celebrity to advance our business and our purpose to a global audience. Reporting to the AVP of Public Relations, you will also work closely with the President & CEO.

This role is for a passionate and driven individual who has a minimum of six years of publicity/PR experience in a senior role, extensive media relations experience, and is someone who can demonstrate proven results, is a self starter, has a maniacal focus on detail and shares Celebrity’s passion for not only delivering award winning vacations, but making the world a better place.

Create and execute a global communications strategy that capitalizes on opportunities for the brand's President & CEO that align with and support the long-term brand and business goals

Build, maintain and manage strong and lasting relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Identify opportunities for the President & CEO to further elevate the brand in a more global way,  e.g. must-attend conferences, keynotes, cultural/thought leadership and meaningful partnerships.

Lead the strategy and execution of high Impact events. 

Identify opportunities and proactively pitch story ideas to targeted media.

Manage media requests and act as an encyclopedia of information on the brand.

Oversee and attend President & CEO interviews and appearances.

Manage diverse stakeholder groups: key partnerships, organizational relationships and Boards

Oversee social media for the President & CEO, while working closely with the social media team to create engaging content and maximize buzz across all of Celebrity’s social platforms.

Collaborate across departments, at all levels of leadership.

Direct the activities of external agencies and internal teams as needed.

Have meticulous organizational skills to ensure all details for activities, events, shipboard events, speaking engagements, etc are handled and delivered flawlessly.

Possess innate ability to multi-task and juggle many projects, appearances, initiatives

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Public Relations or similar. 
  • Minimum of six years of publicity/PR experience in a senior role with extensive media relations experience.
  • Master’s, MBA or advanced degrees will be considered a plus.
  • Effortlessly organized self-motivator with an everlasting wealth of creative ideas.
  • Great writer - from press releases and pitch documents, to presentations.
  • Excellent relationship builder - ability to create, foster and leverage internal and external stakeholder relationships to achieve outstanding results.
  • Confident and dynamic in pitching and comfortable reaching out to everyone from Vanity Fair and Travel & Leisure, to Buzzfeed and Fortune, while knowing how to walk the walk and talk the talk for each one.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Astute attention to detail.
  • Proven time-management and project management skills.
  • Finger on the pulse - always up to date with trends, both inside and outside the travel industry.
  • Quick learner, thrives in a very fast-paced, tight-deadline environment.
  • Willing to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
