Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Commercial Planning and BI Analytics is a leadership role responsible for defining the commercial strategies and tactics necessary to drive $5B in annual top line net ticket revenue. This high performing leader will work closely with other leaders across the Royal Caribbean International organization which includes but may not be limited to Sales, Marketing, International and Revenue. Critical to the role will be the ability to prioritize product needs, collaborate with business partners to develop strategic plans, and effectively communicate plans and business performance across the organization at a Global scale. The Senior Manager will play a leading role in evolving the brand's commercial practices. Key to this will be creating the roadmap for optimized and automated targets, including global sourcing, aggregation of data from business partners, and integration of enhanced and new analytics to develop strategies and track performance. Success in this role will require the ability to develop a high performing team and be a strong leader and influencer across our brand's commercial teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a high performing team
  • Ensure cross team collaboration mindset is instituted and followed through with timelines and goals
  • Prioritize product needs and collaborate with business partners for the development of strategic plans
  • Written and verbal communication of strategic plans to executive management, as well as tactical plans and decisions in reaction to changing market conditions
  • Create reporting suite to communicate product performance in a standardized way to the broader organization
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and International partners for the aggregation of data for the creation of new reports and business insights
  • Create the roadmap for a sourcing optimization algorithm to optimize monthly sourcing revenue forecasts in collaboration with the Revenue Science team
  • Lead the process of creating channel-level targets and insights


Job Requirements

Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university required, Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of commercial experience
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences with a desire to work in a collaborative, intellectually curious environment with the ability to interact across various teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with deadlines and manage changing priorities with minimal supervision and intervention.
