Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Brand and Product Marketing, is responsible for leading the strategic development of global go-to-market plans for new products, and driving the development of integrated marketing campaigns to achieve Royal Caribbean International¿s sourcing, revenue and brand awareness goals. The Senior Manager builds the go-to-market roadmap to launch new ships, destinations and guest experiences into the marketplace to ensure our vacations are strongly differentiated against competitor brands. This leadership role directs and develops a team of project leads to ensure key milestones and company goals are being achieved, and that go-to-market tactics are being evaluated for effectiveness, adaptability and inventiveness. The Senior Manager researches, explores and evolves product launch efforts into new strategies and tactics beyond the expected.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with product development and programmatic departments to understand marketable opportunities and devise a strategic cross-channel, multi-market campaigns to achieve business goals
  • Architect go-to-market strategy for new and evolving products, across relevant global markets
  • Oversee and drive the development of go-to-market campaigns for digital and traditional advertising
  • Analyze and forecast current market challenges, provide competitive analysis, and put forth innovative marketing solutions
  • Devise up-to-the-minute delivery timelines and channel plans and guide the project leads to ensure timely delivery for multiple campaigns
  • Clearly outline campaign goals, set measurable KPIs, and analyze effectiveness of campaign in market
  • Continually call upon product knowledge to ascertain the cause-and-effect of interdependent products and how other campaign strategies may need to be adjusted in light of new tactics
  • Explore and evolve new product launch strategies to bring higher engagement from expanding and new audiences
  • Possess highly collaborative, people-focused personality to ensure strong relationships with team and channel leaders, and higher investment by channel teams to achieve shared goals
  • Partner with product development teams, early in the development process, to ensure advocacy for marketable features in new, developing products
  • Provide regular product updates to North America and International markets
  • Provide weekly reporting and status updates to senior leadership

 

Job Requirements

Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • 8+ years experience in marketing, advertising or creative team
  • Experience launching new and revamped consumer products into the marketplace by planning and implementing integrated marketing campaign strategies across multiple consumer channels including: web, digital media, social, out of home, email, and print
  • Experience giving direction, coordinating workflow, and driving key decisions between internal stakeholders, channel owners, and creative agencies
  • Able to confidently shape and drive messaging angles that influence channel content development and appeal to target consumer segments
  • Strong understanding of consumer and brand research, with demonstrated ability to translate data into implication, and implication into strategy
  • Strong critical decision-making and communication skills, highly organized, deadline driven, detail oriented
  • Adept at documenting and accurately conveying feedback between creative groups
  • Experience creating and managing timelines in project management softwar
  •  Expertise in developing cohesive, engaging, concise, fact-based presentations and presenting to large groups, senior leaders, and executives
  • Experience creating and compiling project estimates
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively improve processes and procedures
  • Self-starter with ability to maintain level-headed poise when dealing with ambiguity
  • Innovative, team-oriented, with demonstrated cross-functional leadership expertise in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field experience.
